Due to the sophisticated computer control system, the CBR can be configured without the need for an air blower. This further eliminates odors during normal operation. The entire system is virtually noise free.
Process Reliability
The CBR reacts automatically to change in the loading (amounts of pollution) of the wastewater, controlling every aspect from microbial and micronutrient injection to pump cycles, retention times and aeration. This is ideal for application with seasonal changes or large fluctuations in the flow and/or loading. Pressure sensors throughout the system detect possible clogging or blockage and initiate an automated back flushing of the affected treatment step. Remote telemetry and video feeds alert our staff and the onsite management of any problems should they occur. Loads of up to 50% above the certified performance parameters can be easily handled for short durations. Low loading is also not a problem. The system can be unused for up to 3 months and still maintain its full biological stability. Also the CBR is the only system on the market that can be put into an emergency mode increasing biological capacity during the duration of the emergency.
Space Requirements
The size of the system is dictated by the desired load factor. The space requirements are minimal compared to other technologies.
Up to a 12 person household equivalent requires 2 tanks each 6 ft. in diameter
Up to a 31 person household equivalent requires 2 tanks each 8 ft. in diameter
Up to a 52 person household equivalent requires 3 tanks each 8 ft. in diameter
Installation depth varies from 9 to 15 feet. The CBR can also be mounted above ground.
Energy Consumption
Short pump cycles minimize energy consumption and extend the life of the used components considerably. Energy efficient wastewater processing is ensured with our 3-pump technology.
Maintenance
Computer controlled monitoring of all components and their conditions and the use of high quality components make the CBR a low maintenance solution. Compared to other methods the CBR employs a 3-pump configuration reducing ongoing maintenance costs, as all pumps are used less individually.
